Google has incorporated pages into their search results. When you use Google Search, add a ‘+’ before your query and it will show you brands on Google+.
If you choice to create a Page, your Google Account becomes the administrator. As of right now, you can only have one admin per page. Another draw back is the lack of Google Places. Google says they will merge Places into Pages in the future.
Google is rolling it out now and not every user will get the ability to create them right away, but it’s coming.
